Thread starter carolina Start date Jun 28, Also is the hardware on the snare nickel or tarnished chrome and if it is nickel how do you clean nickel? And I know I heard all of the surgeon generals warnings about cleaning WMP - but this drum is a bit too yellow even for my vintage taste so I apologize if I'm stirring the hornets nest on this subject I'm certain again but what is the best method for removing some of the yellow?

I would guess late 40's judging by that silverish grommet, big extended but plate and badge. Nice score! Both of this kits were dug out of a barn!!! But thankfully they were in cases. I've included some pictures of the actual set here 22" 16" 13" - there is some rust and the nickel all needs cleaning but over all in decent shape.
I've never seen the real calfskin he on a complete kit like this before, man they sound so warm and beautiful its amazing.
The tom calfskin he are WFL but the two bass drum he are calfskin Gretch Broadcasters - complete with crayon marks on the res side. DFO Star. Cool set. It's a shame someone drilled that bass and tom for that import tom holder. Someone put that same unit on an Oyster Black set I have.
